On the day we checked in and went to our room, we went to get ice. Well, the ice machine on our floor was broken—just the start. When we got back to our hotel on Saturday night, the elevator was out of service. Only one elevator in this large hotel? I was on the third floor, and my knees are not great. Because my wife was going out that night, I felt it was not safe for her to go down the stairs by herself, so I had to go with her. There was no extra security on the stairwells to protect hotel guests. When she came home, I again went down three flights of stairs to make sure she was safe. The next morning, there was still no elevator. After breakfast, management stated the elevator would not be fixed until Monday. As it was our last day, we had to bring our bags down; no help from the staff. I was told I would receive a credit, but I have not seen it. I also have to say their breakfast was not worth eating. I would not stay at this hotel again, even though it was recommended to me as a great place to stay. Find another hotel in the area you will thank me.
