Travelodge by Wyndham Angels Camp CA

We had a room in the back of the hotel that was very quiet and perfect for a one-night recuperative stay after a long day of driving. Only issue was the television that wouldn't work but we were so tired we probably didn't need it anyway.

this room was definitely in need of a makeover, the towel rod was broken. The shower would hardly turn on. hardly turned on. The showerhead was useless.

The towels were dirty. The lamp was broken. There was an old coffee pod in the coffee maker. I wasn't expecting much from Travelodge... But I was expecting a little more for $200 a night in the middle of nowhere.

Overnight stay for a concert in Murphys at the Ironstone Amphitheater. Only about a 15 mile drive to and from. Room was perfectly adequate, clean, quiet with comfortable bed. Motel has no food services and dining in the area is very limited.

The room was dated and dirty. The bathroom was also dirty… especially the toilet.

The room was clean and modern. The TV was very large. The thrift store next door is pretty great.

It was convenient to check in online as it saved me a lot of desk time. Room was clean and quiet as they put us in the back away from the roadway. Two pillows each, plenty of towels, signs of recent remodeling.

I don’t know where to start- there was only one roll of toilet paper and was over half gone. The sink was clogged. One of the double beds looked as if someone slept in it and it was just made, no linen changed. The double lights between the two beds did not work and only one of the two electrical sockets by the bed worked. The TV picture was very dark. AND between the bed and nightstand was a used tissue and smashed water bottle. Which was visible.

The beds were as hard as a rock. If you like a firm mattress you would like these beds. Hotel is very run down. Needs maintenance. Inside room was very clean. Cleaning man was very good and friendly.

Was just a place to sleep. Tv only has one channel. Internet was bad. Clean room. Nice pool. Friendly staff, didn’t even ask for ID or credit card on check in. No coffee pot in room.

Comfy bed and nice towels

Of all the motels I’ve ever been in, this was one of them. It’s okay and serves the purpose but it doesn’t deserve an 8.0 rating on Expedia. More like a 7.

My stay here was the worse ever, the room was dirty, the coffee maker nasty and moldy(good thing I always run only water before making my coffee), the shower was leaking water everywhere except on me.

Clean room, quiet place, could have used towel racks, you can see a broken one on the wall, should have either been taken out or replaced, not a good look. Pillows provided were a different size. Could have used more as a comfort to guests. Was nice to have frig and microwave in room.

Check in is 3pm but we weren't able to get in our room until 3:30pm. No reception area or food of any kind available.

The facility was very easy to find. Our room was not. When we found our room, we walked on a wood overhang covered by outdoor carpeting. It is painfully clear that there is rotted wood underneath the carpeting. Each we went to and from our car to the room we wondered if the wood was going to hold or crumble. Very dangerous!!!!

Nice place. Staff friendly at checkin. Room was clean and it was very quiet during the night. Classic foothill look!

I don’t know I usually stay at the best western in town but tried this place before I stay here with my GF and they had zero soap or shampoo in the room. It was clean though

I didn’t like that I arrived and there was children drinking and smoking weed by the pool with loud music in the front office said there is nothing they can do until 930. I thought it was a little ridiculous that you allowed children to do that on the premises.

Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Very reasonable price and dog friendly. Staff were focused on our needs. The building and landscaping is modest but I recommend.

In the hundreds of hotels I've stayed in, I've never had to pay a charge for early check-in. This was a first, so I chose to wait until 3 to check in. There were no wash cloths in the room. The phone was not hooked up and it had some weird cords I could not figure out how to hook it up. I had to go downstairs to the office to ask for washcloths. I'm sure the description said they had free breakfast, but when asked they said they no longer serve breakfast. Stayed 2 nights and we had to take our wet towels to the office to request fresh towels. The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Only 2 cups for coffee and they were not replaced the second day.

Inexpensive property but clean, comfy and safe.

Bed was comfortable ~ place was clean. Staff was pleasant and I felt safe. Nice pool too!

We needed a last minute reservation and was able to make it online. We needed to accommodate my dog so that was a bonus. When we arrived I waited 15 minutes for someone at the front desk to check me in. No smoking signs are everywhere and fines are posted for smoking in the rooms yet our room reeked of smoke. No hangers and there was one plastic cup for the two of us. The AC worked well so that was a plus.

Excellent stay and very friendly check in with lots of advice provided for the county fair. Highly recommended!
