We stayed for one night while passing through Minneapolis. The hotel itself has a nice atmosphere and the building has a lot of character, but the condition of our room was disappointing for a property in this category.
In daylight we noticed several maintenance and presentation issues including stained carpet and chipped furniture that appeared worn or damaged. Small details like this made the room feel less well maintained than expected.
We also ordered room service. The initial order had a few issues (the fries arrived seasoned when asked for plain unseasoned, for my toddler), however the staff corrected the order quickly and brought a new one up promptly, which we appreciated.
Overall the hotel has potential and the staff were polite, but the room condition and maintenance could be improved.
