This is a one of a kind experience that is simply incredible. The main lodge is historic built in 1828 with a beautiful back deck overlooking a watering hole that animals come to day and night. You can’t get closer than this. Sleeping accommodations in wonderful tents with king bed and attached bathroom. Private garden and swimming pool near lodge. Price includes lunch, high tea, dinner and breakfast and all fantastic on menus designed for you, as well as 2x 3 hr rides to see wildlife, which includes rhino, buffalo, lions and elephants. This is a magical experience and you will be in awe. Service and staff truly wonderful.

Whlle the staff did help and went oout of their way to help us celebrate a special occasion, we were disappointed that it could have been a more of an "African" experience - especially with the dining. We were anticipating that there would have been a lot more of the South African taste in the menus. Unfortunately, the schedule at the camp was so tight, there was not enough down time to actually enjoy the camp itself. It was also disappointing to be presented with a blll with unknown/ hidden costs for park fees, etc. I understand that the camp does not have control of these, but it would have been nice to have known about them up front. Overall, it was enjoyable, but I think our money could have been better spent on an alternative vacation.
