D location was ideal as it was only a short distance to d ski slopes up on a hill so the views made it amazing

Strangely for a ski apartment the resort was perched on a mountain side & could have been hard to find had we not got rather lucky spotting the one small sign on the main road. The reception wasn't open on the day of our arrival but the key had been left in a letter box; this arrangement was fine in summer but could be problematic on a dark winter day. There was no catering on site although the hotel across the road had a small pleasant bar.
Our room/apartment was spacious & comfortable although there had obviously been some trouble: there was water staining to the ceiling, a radiator was leaking and we were a bit shocked at the yellow bathwater. I imagine with was a temporary problem following a repair but my wife wasn't very impressed.
Overall, a nice location & an apartment that would have been very good had it been tidied up a bit.
