    We recently stayed at the Best Maritim to celebrate a mile stone birthday for my partner. The hotel on the whole was lovely, clean, modern and reasonably priced. We stayed on a B&B basis. Our room was clean, modern, slightly on the small size, but was fine for the short period we were there. Majority of staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast- a wide choice of cold breakfast items, breads etc, the hotel breakfast items were slightly limited, but were ok. Pool area- kept clean, plenty of sundowners and lots of activities if you wanted to join in. We used the adult only area, again clean but the bar on the roof top never opened (could be as it was September). We did pay extra for this but the view and beds were worth the extra. Facilities - The bar was really good value for money. The evening entertainment wasn't to our liking (very difficult to understand as jo translated), but the part we saw, everyone looked very happy We used the changing/showers on our last day so we had a late departure. Again very clean and tidy and very spacious. Spa - This was the most disappointing part. I booked a message for our last day as a treat. When I arrived , the staff were shocked to see me and became very rude. I understand there was some language barrier, but was made to feel that I shouldn't have been there. A member of staff had given me a time, different to what had been put on the system, but I was treated disgracefully. This did but a slight dampener on our final few hours. Location- Over an hours walk to the main area of salou or cambrils, although there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel, which we used daily Overall the hotel was good.

    Cleaning should have more attention , food was nice . Entertainment was really nice and lot of activities for kids and adults Naomi was very friendly and funny with travelers
