Our stay at The Nuovo Albergo was great... the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, clean crisp sheets, comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. The staff was fantastic and helpful, (especially Laura, thank you for all), and the complimentary breakfast is fresh and varied. The hotel is perfectly located in the old city for walking and visiting. The street entrance however, does not do it justice as it is quite dark and could use some improvement.

This hotel was basic but our room had a private bathroom and Air conditioning. 6 stairs to the elevator so not completely accessible however they did have a wheelchair lift. Area around the hotel was safe feeling and close to shopping and restaurants. Great stopover hotel before or after a cruise.

When walking in the front door the condition of the entrance looked like it was derelict, dirty and the wooden banister had chunks out. We had to book a breakfast time as the room was so small. You had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom and sink did not hold water. The only plus was it was clean and we were only there for 15 hours. Location was good.

Perfect for us transiting over night. 10 min to the Grande Canal one way and 10 min to the train station the other. It was about a 17 minute walk from the cruise ship and really easy to find. Nice room with really great noise-cancelling windows to the street noise. Room was really nice and the breakfast was A M A Z I NG!!

Amazing stay! Don’t let the 2 stars deter you. The room was super spacious and really clean. The staff were really great and helpful as well! They recommended places to go, and helped us get transport to the airport. The hotel is nice and close to the main square and the canal which made it perfect. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel!! The staff were warm and welcoming, everything was new, clean, and had great attention to detail. The breakfast was also very good, and they were very warm and friendly to my dog. The location was also perfect distance to city highlights and to the train station. I would stay here again and again. For the price, it really can't be beat. i was incredibly impressed.
