We came on a mini cruise, arrived at about 10.00. Giuseppe was on the desk and showed us where to leave our case all day. Checkin in the evening was easy. Our room was spacious and clean, lovely big bed. After a good night sleep we had a nice breakfast and again were able to leave our case until about 16.00. Thank you for agreat stay.

Nice hotel with renewed rooms and complimentary services (wi-fi, refrigerator, wide screen tv), good continental breakfast, really not so far from downtown Rotterdam. Nevertheless few advices from reception at check-in. As a tourist, I'm used to ask for suggestions and advices at the desk... and to get answers different from "I don't know... perhaps..."

First of all I would like to say getting to the hotel was good and easy to get to via public transport or even walking from Rotterdam Central for me was a 10 min walk and around 3/4 mins tram ride. The staff were all friendly and were willing to help if needed. My room was not that big but cosy and was adequate enough for the amount of time I was staying in Rotterdam. Breakfast was okay could of had more fresh fruit only saw apples. And also should of not put bacon on top of all the fried eggs maybe keep that seperate for those that don't eat meat. So on the food can only comment on breakfast as didn't eat anything thing else there. Bed was single bed just about fits I'm 6ft 3in pillows could of been better. Shower was great. Sink was very very small and the counter that was above could be a potential hazard really not practical. Internet signal no issues. Plenty of shops the Blue one Albert Heijn and the Red shop which is Dirk which have plenty of choice and have good prices that are a matter of minutes and places to eat or have a drink in so that is fantastic if you don't feel like going into the city centre. Things that I saw which were not appealing druggies main road noise but I was on the first floor facing the road. But not troubled by anyone. Overall people were friendly some were rude but you will get that every in the world.

Great hotel, clean spacious rooms, close to many things in Rotterdam. The neighborhood is tricky though with several drug addicts hanging near the front door both in the afternoon and in early night. We did not immediately feel unsafe, but not comfortable. I would not stay here on my own though. The hotel can not help this of course but it is factor to consider

Hotel staff were very pleasant. The room and bathroom were okay. The elevator is a disabled access elevator, which was encouraged to be used. I used the stairs all the time whilst staying here. In one of the evenings the elevator was stuck between floors with a healthy looking trapped inside. The biggest challenge was the smell, I’m used to noise and smells so it didn’t bother me as much but I could see this as a problem for others Breakfast was good but selection quite small

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My brother and I stayed in a twin room and everything was perfect. Big room, clean and tidy facility, fresh and tasty breakfast, and of course two shining stars, a Latin and a Polish lady, unfortunately I don't know their names, but believe me, they provide exceptional service. The hotel is situated about 15 mins walk from Rotterdam station and has many eatery choices. When we first arrived we were a little dubious about what the hotel would be like due to the area that it’s in. We didn’t feel unsafe but it was full of interesting characters. I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised that although this is a 3 star hotel it is very, very clean with large rooms and because we were at the back it was very quiet. The staff absolutely make this hotel. They are very friendly and incredibly helpful. Overall our stay was excellent and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was nice, and the city centre is close by. The staff was friendly, and always helpfull. Only thing was that even as a dutch person the staff mostly spoke english with me. If it policy, no problem for me though.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is clean, quiet and the breakfast was good. Parking is off-site, around the corner (approximately 300m) ina secure building. There is a cost. There is possibly some street parking available.

The triple stay room was fantastic. It was clean and fresh. It had a welcoming and bright feeling with double doors that opened to a small balcony. It was quite warm weather during our stay, so we were thankful for the airy nature of the room and the air conditioning at night. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the breakfast food was delicious. It was a good location, a short walk to the railway station and all the bars and restaurants. I would happily return again to this hotel and to the fantastic, vibrant city of Rotterdam. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! We will return.

Mattress was very old and worn out. The room was very small with an uneven floor. The stairs were very steep and difficult to use safely.

The road access to the hotel was closed, but no one informed us before arrival. The car could be parked several streets away if we borrowed the key in the reception and then you had to walk back and forth, no possibility to drop of luggage neer the hotel. The hotel was under restoration, but the room was surprisently fine and newly renovated but freezing cold. No possibility to turn up the heat ovrer 23 degrees and with very cold weather outside and leaking windows, that was far from enough.

After check-in, We had to move from the reception to another building for our room, There were too many stairs with a baby and luggage without elevator in a third floor. The entrance is pretty dated, but surprisingly the room was pretty nice! This was until we realized they put us in a connecting room. Without the usual double door separate, it was essentially a single layer of plywood. Initially, no problem. Who puts guests that aren't together in connecting rooms in a largely vacant hotel? This place. We could hear every single movement, text message through the door clear as day. And the partying of our neighbours (3-4 people) until 2am when we had to be up at 6 drove us absolutely insane Obviously, let's call the front desk! The phone didn't work. So, let's go to the front desk! ... No one works at night. Contacted hotels.com, and even after spending thousands and have a almost a another thousand reserved, they were useless. Didn't do anything at all to help us. Never followed up. Never contacted the hotel. I'm seriously disappointed in the entire experience with the app. And will sooner sleep in the bus station before giving any money to hotel Milano. What trash.

Nice room with good beds, airco and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast. Decoration in the dining room is old. Garden has yet to be laid out. Rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy due to the traffic and the passage of the tram.
