The room was in good condition and very clean. But the check-in process makes me not want to stay there again. I arrived late at night as a solo female traveler, and check-in felt sketchy. The front desk was dark and closed, with a sign saying to go to a kiosk. I checked in with a guy by video at the kiosk. He said there was someone on site despite no staff anywhere. There was a random guy hanging out in the lobby behind me that seemed to be sleeping on the sofa, which didn’t instill much confidence, especially with the feeling that no one was manning the lobby. I would have left for another place if it weren’t so late and I was so exhausted. But it didn’t feel like the safest environment.

We chose this hotel for its unbeatable mix of location, price, and pet-friendliness—and it didn’t disappoint. The reviews highlighting cleanliness were spot on, and we found everything fresh and well-kept. A big plus: they offer RV and semi-truck parking, which made logistics easy for our group. One thing to note—if you're assigned a second-floor room, you’ll need to use stairs (either indoor or outdoor), so keep that in mind when hauling bags or traveling with pets. First-floor rooms are wheelchair accessible, and the staff was thoughtful enough to ask if our pup could manage the stairs, offering to adjust our room if needed. Thankfully, our dog was fine, so it wasn’t an issue.

Room was clean. Disappointed in that the freezer in the refrigerator had quite a bit of frost so couldn't hold our ice packs. Asked the lady at the front desk if she could put them in their freezer and she said she didn't know where the master key was. I know there is an ice machine but ice melts fast from those.

Hotel felt very empty and unattended due to not having a front desk clerk on staff at the property. A virtual kiosk is not a person, and does not make people feel safe and well kept while staying the night, would not recommend and will not return.

The remote check in was weird, but fine. T was clean and comfortable. We just needed a clean place to sleep before traveling again and this was clean and relatively inexpensive. Would recommend, but would book a room on the quieter side of the hotel not facing other businesses. Too much light simhoning in.

There are no elevators, no one at the front desk in person and made the checkout super slow. The room was outdated and run down. No way would I rate this as an 8. It’s very strange to have a full size hot tub in the room

Greeted by friendly staff member who helped when bringing luggage in. Room very clean, very spacious; smelled clean. We travel with a Shepard, it’s always unpleasant to walk into rooms with old carpet and pet smells. This room had faux wood floors which make it so much better to clean and avoids collecting pet smells from others who have had accidents or who haven’t the manners to wait until they get outside. The bed was comfortable and the entire room exceptionally clean. I will stay here again if it happens to be I. The timeframe of travel on my way west.

The room was fine. We stayed on the second floor, and there is no elevator. We parked at the end of the building opposite of the office. The stairs and a landing were in terrible condition. Looked like they had not been maintained in many years. The boards are kind of rotten and the stairs are rusty. They could use some TLC. The room itself was fine. I don’t even know if they had breakfast or not. they had coffee in the lobby. I had a mini fridge and microwave. Really when it comes down to it this room is the same as a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, express, etc., for a better price. The lack of an elevator and the rusty stairs are the only reason it doesn’t get a five but if you need a good clean room with a decent bed and a TV This is a great choice. I will stay here again.

Very clean establishment, stocked and well taken care of. Friendly accommodating staff eager to assist. The location of the property exceeded my expectations with at least 3 family friendly sit down restaurants within walking distance. Lou's Diner Chicago Pizza Truck stop Travel Plaza Restaurant I would definitely recommend this place for both short and extended stays. The only down side is the lack of an elevator.
