The room had no air conditioning and the night I arrived it was heavily humid with a strong odor of cooking oil coming up from the kitchen. I requested a fan but was told that the other guests were using all the fans and that I would have to wait for one of them to check out. At that point I became angry. The hotel agent clearly understood that I did not find his response acceptable and returned five minutes later with a large fan. Although the room was small it was clean and, with the fan going continuously, relatively comfortable. It is also important for any prospective traveler to know in advance that the photograph of the hotel in no way matches the reality. It was definitely doctored to make the hotel appear far more externally charming than it really is.

Fantastic if you are here for business. The hotel has a great restaurant, and St. Gallen is not to far with more options. The owner of the hotel is extremely nice and will help you when needed. Free parking is a plus and the surrounding area has plenty of things to look at. Overall, great place to stay for a good price.

I had a brief stay here on the way to Zurich for business. The service was excellent and personell very flexible. I arived around 10PM after traveling all day; the ladies were welcoming, helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive. My room was small, even by European standards, but I was alone so it didn't matter. I believe the double rooms are much larger. It had everything I needed, including a beautiful view. If you're not familiar with Teufen, it's a beautiful town in an idyllic Swiss setting. Lots of millionaires and you can understand why. I hope to return to the area and spend more time; I will definitely stay at the hotel again.

The Linde hotel is a genuine Swiss hotel. It feels like a swiss alpine restaurant with a hotel pension in a quiet village not too far from larger cities. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and distinguished in the Swiss hospitality way (not the anglo-saxon overbearing way that we continental europeans do not like). The service was excellent and the room impeccably clean. The single room was extremely small but ok for 1 night stay. I would definitively come back.

Nice hotel and restaurant in mountain area 10-15 minutes form St Gallen. There is a little train to St Gallen, it takes 20-25 minutes and it's a nice ride. Enjoyed it with nice stuff, small but clean rooms, would go there again!

Nice clean room, very small though (it was a single room but still). Restaurant was closed the day I stayed there but they gave us a referral to a local restaurant that was superb. Excellent breakfast. No internet.
