We had a wonderful stay at The Village Inn. The check-in was super efficient. The staff are all very friendly, patient, and always smiling 😊. The food at the Inn's Glow Worm Chinese restaurant served authentic Chinese cuisine and was really excellent. We were informed that the chef has 25 years of experience, and worked in a 5-star hotel restaurant before, and he cooked with his heart and pride. As there was overnight snow and road closure along Milford Road, the owner gave us very useful and practical driving tips and advice for our safe drive to Milford Sound. Kudos to all the staff of The Village Inn ❤️. You guys are the best. We will give them more than 10 stars🤩

The location of Te Anau is critical for all who are visiting Milford Sound by road. And the only Town where accommodation can be found for cars motor homes backpackers and bus tourists. Therefore the whole town accommodation is over priced, and hosts can get away with minimum service for maximum money.
