The motel does not honour the prices advertised on Agoda. On two separate occasions, I booked accommodation at the Agoda rate, only to be told by the motel that I had to pay a higher price upon arrival. This defeats the purpose of using Agoda to secure a discounted rate and is both frustrating and misleading.At the end of my journey, I was unexpectedly told that additional money was owing. Really? Based on my experience, booking this property has been a waste of time.I understand that under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct or make false representations about prices. If a customer is shown and confirms a price through a booking platform, then requiring payment of a higher amount without proper disclosure may raise concerns under consumer protection laws.I am also concerned about the handling of payment card details. If any funds are deducted from a card without the cardholder's knowledge or authorisation, I will immediately dispute the transaction with my bank and report the matter to the appropriate authorities. Unauthorised transactions may constitute a breach of consumer and payment regulations.I will be lodging formal complaints, the relevant State Consumer Affairs agency, and the ACCC. While the ACCC does not resolve individual disputes, it monitors reports of potentially misleading business practices and pricing conduct.Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

My twins & I stayed the night after travelling all day, the beds were so comfortable & the room so clean. The planes over head were noisy but we soon forgot them. Close to shopping centre & everything we needed.

Alara motor inn is good for your money it’s worth it . Room clean ,all the staffs are very kind and friendly .
Have free mineral water ,coffee,tea,Milo and everyday cleaning .i can recommend this motel .

The Alara Motel was good - the room is refurbished and clean with a comfy bed. We did not realise when booking, that the area is right under the flight path of the airport, so it can be very noisy at times. There is some maintenance that has been neglected, but nothing that affected our stay.
