The location of the hotel is excellent, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection. The young man at reception was also kind, polite, and genuinely apologetic throughout the whole situation. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was completely unacceptable. First, the receptionist couldn’t find my payment, so I had to show proof from my banking app. Then he gave us a key card, and when we entered the room, there was a man lying on the bed. It was clearly someone else’s room. The receptionist seemed to be relying on handwritten notes from his colleagues, which may have contributed to the mistake. He apologized several times, looked genuinely concerned, and immediately issued another key. Unfortunately, the second key unlocked yet another occupied room. I felt terrible walking into strangers’ rooms, and I can’t imagine how uncomfortable those guests must have felt either. By this point I was becoming quite frustrated. It was getting late, and since many restaurants in Prague close around 10 p.m., we were losing valuable time because of repeated room assignment errors. Eventually, we were given what appeared to be the smallest room available, but at least it was empty. The room looked generally clean, but we found black hairs in the shower and another black hair on the bed, which wasn’t a great first impression. Throughout the rest of my stay, I kept the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because I was genuinely worried that someone else might be given access to my room, just as we had been given access to theirs. While I appreciate the receptionist’s professionalism and sincere apologies, this points to a serious failure in the hotel’s room allocation system. Guest privacy and security should never be compromised. The hotel urgently needs a more reliable process to ensure that room keys are issued only for vacant, correctly assigned rooms.

We stayed for 2 nights from 29th June to 1st July 2026. The room, it's hardware and support staff was excellent. We were given room on arrival and the breakfast was good. The location is superb and once can see all the sights on foot. The central is just 8 minutes walk. Great experience

Great location, quiet even though in central location, spacious rooms. Insufficient seating at breakfast at busiest time and luke warm shower temperature 1 evening didn't detract from the value for money the hotel offered. Recommended.
