The hotel was clean and served the purpose. Food was good. Location was further from the Ahoy, however the staff were amazing.

The hotel itself is very nice, the staff are helpful and efficient and the rooms are w well equipped with smart TVs and large comfortable beds. The price I paid for my stay was also a fair bit less than competing hotels were charging for the same dates. The location is a little out of the way if you aren't driving though so bear that in mind. We coped fine getting Ubers to the metro station at Slinge in order to get elsewhere but it would have been easier if we had our own car. That being said, the location also meant the area was super quiet and it was easy to get a relaxing night's sleep as a result

The Hotel Bastion is a good place to stay. Clean and neat. Not many place to visit close by. 20 minute ride to good restaurants in Rotterdam Centrum.

Close to Ahoy but isolated from any walkable bars/restaurants. In an industrial area. Gloomy bar/restaurant area with not enough staff for bar and reception. Food average at best and beer is expensive €7 plus for a warm pint… Rooms small and in need of renovation as is most of the hotel.

I liked the room. Nice bed, nice tv. Bathroom was really small though. The hallway wasn't all that clean and during the day you could barely pass due to all the cleaning stuff. If you don't have a car, it's not great to reach. The nearest busstop is a 15 minutes walk away. Also the first manager I talked to when checking in forgot to charge me the extra costs. He also didn't speak Dutch at all. The manager checking out was very polite and friendly.

This is a hotel for offshore workers. it's based on a main road so depending on the room you'll hear loads of traffic. I had to change rooms because of this. To get into the car park you've got get the gate opened, I found this annoying. The food is good if not abit expensive. The service is OK and the price is OK too. I stay here because its convenient for my work, it does the job.

Our room hasn’t been cleaned for the four days we’ve spent there.

We reserved a room with two twin beds, they provided us two single beds. I called the customer service and they apologized and verified the bed is single, then transferred me to the relocating team, I was on hold for one hour, then another person called me and she said the reception verified that the rooms are two twin bed, while they had verified twice they do not have twin beds at all. All of their rooms are single beds. That was my worst experience ever, they ruined my vacation, I wasted three hours of my daytime in Amsterdam discussing the issue with customer service and paid the charge for international call from Netherlands and at the end I was so pissed off that I could not enjoy there anymore. I will never book anything from Expedia anymore. They do not care about their customers.

The pedestrian gate into the secure car park didnt lock.The rooms door cards failed after a few hours and they tried to charge me twice for local tax ,so get a receipt.On the plus side , the room was resonable , the TV had a good selection of channels , the bartender was helpful , its one of the few hotels in Rotterdam that doesnt charge you to park , and its cheap !

We have been staying 2 nights at this hotel. On the first day we about to check in, misunderstood GPS, and we went into a slightly wrong way, and it turned out that it was a road belongs to another company. The Gate closed right after we entered, and it was late night. No one we can reach to open that gate. we managed to reach the Hotel reception, and they are very nice and careful. They brought us water while the manager making some phone calls. After some time, they managed to reach someone who can remote open the gate. We are very grateful they helped us out in this situation. We stayed at this hotel to two days, and they are very nice and kind. Great job!
