Typical old b c b property on the lower end of the cost scale, this one is one of the better of that group. I was very disappointed this trip to discover. They now added a $15 per night per vehicle parking fee, which is crazy for this part of the beach. If you start with this is a budget hotel at the beach you will likely like it. The pool was clean. The hot tub water was as well, though not very hot. The area is attractive has been trimmed and swept. The seating, along with everything else here is just old. Oh and beds are hard.

We had been enjoying our stay until management completely ruined the experience.
First, they’ve started charging $15 per day just for parking, which feels excessive. I do not know of another hotel on PCB that charges for parking.
The real issue, however, came when we extended our stay through Agoda and notified the front desk. Despite doing everything correctly, the general manager charged my card on file without authorization and then showed up telling us we needed to leave immediately for “staying past checkout.”
When I calmly explained that we had already extended and paid, he refused to believe me and instead questioned why his own staff hadn’t noted it. He even complained that he had to come in on his day off “because of us,” which was completely unprofessional.
I showed him booking confirmations and bank transactions, and still, instead of resolving it, he threatened to call the police when I said I would dispute the charge with my bank.
Only after Agoda got involved directly and spoke with him did he “suddenly” find the reservation and agree to reverse the unauthorized charges. Now we’re stuck waiting up to a week to get our money back.
This situation was stressful, embarrassing, and completely avoidable. It ruined our entire day and left a very bad impression.
Management clearly lacks communication and accountability. I would strongly recommend double-checking everything if you stay here or better yet, choose somewhere that treats guests with basic respect.
