Loved the hotel and its location. Very accessible to the Port restaurants. I appreciate the hotel’s drive to be more eco-friendly but didn’t warm too well to the room light going on automatically when visiting the bathroom during the night. Likewise the frosted window between the bathroom and the bedroom. Not helpful when one is a light sleeper. Everything else was fine

Chose this hotel for the pool, but all the loungers were taken when we arrived and you have to go into the hotel to get a drink from the bar. Cocktails are a poor impression of the real thing but are reasonably priced. Room was too hot in summer nights and the air conditioning couldn't cope. Needs toilet brushes, and the bleach stains all over the hall carpet replaced. Good parking and friendly staff and a great view over the river.

Loved this hotel. Comfortable room with king size bed and little outdoor seating area. They have a great swimming pool and a big indoor hot tub we really enjoyed! There is also a wonderful bar area with outdoor seating overlooking the pretty river with boats parked or going by. So picturesque! Stroll down the river a block or two and you come to the street going up onto the charming town. The street is cobblestoned and VERY steep but a free shuttle bus makes rounds periodically. There are so many restaurants around and a bakery. More up into town. The hotel breakfast has a big selection but you do everything yourself and it takes forever to figure it all out. At 18 euro I would skip it. Parking was free at the hotel and there was plenty of it. The hotel is tucked away but is well signed so we had no problems finding it. The entry is on the side away from the parking lot. Can’t go in the back door. Overall it is an excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay there again if we were lucky enough to return and met many people who came often.

Clearly a relatively new hotel, the room was very spacious, especially the bathroom which was one of the best I've seen in hotels in my price range. Pool was good too, very welcome as I arrived on a hot day. Bike storage was also provided with no issues, Secure but is outside. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet and very good. Only issue was the room window had just a net curtain which made it feel a bit exposed when in the room with lights on at night.

Always a great stay in this hotel. We love the proximity to the port and old town and with an outdoor pool to swim and relax after our cycle from Saint Malo. The only grumble being the unnecessary wait of 19 minutes until the magic 15:00 check in time despite the room being available.

The hotel is in a great location next to the river and within easy walking distance of the beautiful town of Dinan. Be aware the hotel restaurant doesn’t open on Sunday nor Monday even in peak season - not very convenient!

The hotel was in a beautiful location. Shame most of the area’s restaurants were closed over Christmas. We were told that the hotel didn’t have a front desk, but it does and has someone there all the time to help with any questions you may have.

Although not disabled we were given a disabled persons room and so maybe had more space than if we had been given a standard room. It could not have been any further from reception which made it very quiet but the outlook from the window was a bit disappointing. The bar area was quite comfortable and although a bit pricey the breakfast was good. The hotel location is right on the river which is very picturesque.

The restaurant had a large parking lot for convenience. The rooms were cozy with nice bathrooms. For the price category, this hotel was spot on. There is a small street train that will take you up the hill to the charming village of Dinan, or you can walk for exercise. A lovely experience staying at this Mercure.
