Lovely place! I only wish I'd had the time to have dinner in the restaurant, however the breakfast was excellent (I think one of the best I've ever had). Perhaps more info in English so that it's possible to enjoy the Danish/local fare even more? (not everyone might know or appreciate something like fynsk smoked cheese).The toiletries were also very nice. Good shower head and water pressure. Always enjoy having a coffee/tea maker in the room. It was a tiny bit cold and it didn't seem like the heat could be raised, so it was good that I had two duvets for myself.Hope to return someday. Thank-you!

This was our first time visiting this gem! Definitely not our last! A beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. We took a wonderful walk in the park down to the beach and with a view of the old bridge. Friendly personel. Beautiful, spotless room. Absolutely delicious food. Sitting on the terrace with a coffee or drink watching the sailboats magical.

Comfortable room with great bathroom. Surroundings are spectacular, from the buildings and the associated park to the grand views of the belt. Food was excellent, we had a three course dinner that were both tasteful and satisfying without making you feel 'stuffed'.

The grounds were pleasant to walk around - wooded paths, duck pond, Baltic Sea shoreline, garden for restaurant. Very good dinner, very helpful staff. Best available price room was in lower level and very small. Bathroom was updated but room needs updating as well, though clean. We saw newer rooms in adjacent building and would upgrade to this next time.

I have stayed at Hindsgavl several times and am always very happy with my stay. This time, however, there was a very moldy shower that made me give a disappointing 2/5 rating for cleanliness. The mold smelled quite badly.

Pros: Beautiful grounds and location, Quiet room, excellent restaurant, nice bar. Cons: Dreadful room design with sink and shower "open plan" with main bedroom area. Modern, impractical sink with nowhere to put toiletries. Checkout time too early - 10.00 AM Coffee maker inadequate and not good for making tea - would have been much better with just a kettle. Desk too small and insufficient surfaces to store things. Room impractical and apparently designed by a 12-year-old.

Gav min datter på 13 år et ophold i fødselsdagsgave. Skøn oplevelse at dele med hende. Vi gik flere ture rundt i det smukke område. Vi nød blandt andet at se de smukke rådyr. Morgenmaden også helt i top (selvom datteren havde håbet på pandekager)

IPretty, curving lawn in front of beach. Spent long weekend here & had nice rest. We rented bicycles, didn?t need car because everything?s so close. Two-bedroom apartments are great, airy, light. (Other rooms vary in quality.) Only downside (other than pool heater broken) was when the family above us had loud, drunken fight at 2 a.m. right outside our room. No management on premises after 8 pm, but when there, they?re GREAT & accommodating. This hotel was bought by a chain and will be demolished soon, so now?s time to take advantage of its charm and great location.
