OYO Sunrise Hotel, A46 N Leicester

Clean bed, clean bathroom but so many cobwebs on the room's walls and ceilings that we thought the room was decorated for Halloween. Months (if not years) of grime on skirting boards.

Easy parking area and the room was nice and clean

Basic overnight stay for Leicester - economic- simple straightforward check in - ample parking- cobwebs on ceilings- very soft mattress- definitely needs replacing- toilet not properly cleaned- otherwise ok - as I said basic

Room was ok

Excrement all over toilet seat. Hairs all over bathroom and bath (not mine as long hair and I have short hair). Room/hotel very tired and looks as though no money has been spent since purchased from travelodge

You get what you paid for.The place is clean,with coffee/tea facilities.It’s on the motorway.There’s a restaurant next to it.

Nice, quick stay...

Based on the price I assumed that this would be a basic hotel however the lack of cleanliness was very disappointed.

Parking difficult due to Indian restaurant next door. Smell of damp. Large patch of carpet was soaking wet. Bathroom door did not shut. Room facilities rather old and battered. Polite checking in staff. Clean bedding and towels.

Room was poorly cleaned, bathtub was dirty, bedding was not fresh.

Clean and tidy, a bit dated. Staff were friendly and the restaurant next door is very handy. Stayed a Friday and Saturday night. Slept well both nights.

Bugs crawling in sink and bath every morning. The people that own it all stand outside late at night talking loudly.

The room had a fusty smell from the moment I arrived. It’s clear this used to be a Travelodge and has only had a basic quick-fix renovation. The bed was clean and comfortable, so at least I got a decent sleep. However, there was a wet patch on the floor that never dried, which was odd and off-putting. Would I stay again? No. Did it do the job for one night? Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays.

Good hotel, room and bed were ok, clean. A little dated & main light in the room dull.

For the price i paid, it was what i expected, However my main issue as as follows. Upon booking via the hotels website i was notified i would need to contact the hotel if i was arriving after 10pm, i would be coming from a festival so i message through the hotels site and no answer so rang the number provided and was put to a generic help line who had to give me another number. I was then told to call on the day around 6pm (not sure why it had to be on the day when i was giving them notice 5 days in advance)....Ever way as said i was at a festival and was struggling to call, in the end my girlfriend had to call up and get the details for me. On top of this i feel the place needs a little referb as some things put me off... - Being able to just stroll into an unattended hotel with no lock of keypad on the main door. - No lock on the inside of my room (i did need a physical key but sometimes you want that extra lock. - pre existing tape on the door peep hole was a little worrying. - Marks and bits of paint missing all over the room as well as stains on the bed frames. - I was also unsure if the bed was broken or if the mattress was memory foam as i sank into it on any movement, so at first it was hard to get comfortable but it did the job.

The bed was amazing very comfortable very soft couldn’t ask for better however the is absolutely no signal data doesn’t work the free WiFi doesn’t work. There is no shops about there is only a tiny bar next door and surrounding you is camera fields

There was no cleaning service to the room in five days. The write up stated there was an espresso machine when there wasn't. The decor was antiquated and not updated.

So noisy and swelteringly hot no air flow through the building even with windows open. No sleep at all. Room in need of a refresh whilst clean was very tired carpet and sofa bed had definitely seen better days

Was an ok hotel , somewhere to sleep . There was a couple of things that could improve the hotel . There was only 4 plugs in the room which happen to be the other side of room . So either need an extension lead or move the plugs closer to the bed , so tv was plugged in one , heater 2nd plug, kettle 3rd and last one we had to charge our phones, but taking turns. Also the tv , i know you may think moaning about the size. Yes was nice having large tv ,however it literally just about fitted on desk it blocked the mirror so if you wanted to sit at desk to dry your hair or do your make up you would either have to put tv on floor or use the bathrokm mirror and had to plug kettle in the only small space left which was behind the tv . Which was quite dangerous 1. The bath was either dirty or marked to the point my daughter wouldn't use it and waited till she got home to shower . And would benefit your guest to maybe have a little fridge in rooms especially if they are staying a couple of days in the hotter months ,to keep drinks cold. Like i said was an ok hotel for the price , if i had to mark it out of 10 , i would say hotel is a 7
