Stayed in Room 106 in December. The room was very cold with no heating, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the TV turned on by itself during the night.

We booked it last minute, in Europe usually you cannot check in after 8pm so having a 24 hour front desk for travelers is a huge bonus. We just parked on the street but I believe they’re have a garage as well. Also enjoyed check out at noon

We chose the hotel for onsite parking but it was full and hotel hard to find as it was shrouded with scaffolding and plastic Once we got all all was good staff helpful and breakfast excellent

The only good thing here is the location. I understand we booked an economy room however for over £50 we did not expect the room to be so small and shabby. Standard double bed pushed up against the walls with barely enough room to put a suitcase on the floor. Stains on the wall paper, chipped metal bath. Could easily hear the people in the room next to us talking. Nowhere to hang the shower, no screen/curtain have to sit in the bath and hold it yourself. 1 sachet of shower gel for 2 of us. Receptionist would not accept that we had paid in advance even though it was on our confirmation, had to phone Hotels.com to get that sorted out. On checkout they tried to charge an extra 10 for a dog, we didn't have one! If we had booked for more than 1 night we would have moved hotels. Good job we have a sense of humour!

Stayed one night on our way to the french coast. Had a room facing the street with one double bed and a single bed. Slept well. Friendly receptionists. Didn't stay for breakfast. Got the room at a good price and it was well worth the money. Used the private locked parking area for 8 euro a night. Left happy.

The stay was pleasant. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is parking available close to the hotel. The hotel is in a convenient location to the rest of the city. Anything one would want to see or do in the city is within a short walk of the hotel. We did not take breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is a good choice for small families. We stayed with a small child and a dog.

We always stay at this hotel on our way to Italy. Clean rooms, good price , very near shops and Cathedral . Double glazed windows so traffic noise is very little . Secure parking with double gates .

First room we were booked into was pretty shabby. The mattrass cover wasn't clean and the bed was an awfully small double bed. We asked for a new room which was given to us no questions asked. The rest of the stay was good thanks to the staff running the hotel.

Room was very nice. No shower rail so you had to hold shower head whilst showering. Bar was very limited but location of hotel meant you were close to bars and restaurants.

Hotel was a bit tired but adequate. Breakfast was ok if you got there early enough, typical continental breakfast. Car parking was great as was the location in the centre of the town. Very good value for the money paid. Spoke good English.
