Motel 6 South Bend, IN - Mishawaka

I had no issues with parking, the staff is super friendly and accommodating and the room was excellent, clean, warm, with all the amenities you expect in a room.

It was clean. Nice and quiet.

Clean room and building. A very kind staff that went above and beyond. We had a great stay.

Parking was good. The heating work ok, you had to have the fan on all the time. The fan for the heater did not work in auto mode. The room was as small as an inside cabin on a cruise ship. The water didn’t get very warm in the shower. The room was clean. The bed was hard and blanket thin.

I guess for the price NO issues .

Was probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Walls had marks/dents. The blankets had black stuff all over them. Towels were rough, TV was mediocre at best. Will not stay here again.

A guy who may be the owner blamed my dog for peeing on HIS bush. They no longer offered coffee after like 7:30 in the morning.

Great location to access Notre Dame. There’s a shuttle from a private company. I’ll take you right to the game and it’s reasonably priced.

Staff seemed nice enough. Room was clean bed and pillows not too comfortable. Power went out in hotel during stay at 3am and there was no hot water possibly because ofthis.

Welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, and an easy 20-30 minute walk to the University of Notre Dame campus. Also Dairy Queen and Taco Bell immediately next door, and a coffee shop within a block and a half. I would stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel worth the price. Was very nicely surprised by the hotel. Wasn’t the “typical” motel 6. Staff was nice and the room didn’t make me feel dirty

Hotel was clean and well located. Towels were horrible, no pool etc. tv was in an awkward spot in the room. I am highly allergic to dogs and did not realize they allow dogs until I checked in. I would’ve never booked this hotel.

I arrived at Motel 6 in South Bend from Auckland, New Zealand, at around 2:30 a.m. I presented my reservation printout and payment confirmation to the person at the reception. After checking his keys, he told me that there was no booking under my name and that no room was available for me. It was an extremely stressful situation to face in a strange country and city at that hour. I asked him to check again and showed him the payment details once more. He insisted that I would receive a refund and that no booking existed. I requested that he check thoroughly in his drawers and boxes, and only then did he find my key card. This experience was deeply unsettling and almost gave me a heart attack. When I finally entered the room, I found that there was no internet connection. The receptionist claimed that this was due to thunderstorm activity, but I realized this was not true. In fact, there was no internet service for the entire eight days of my stay. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The lack of professionalism and honesty was unacceptable, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
