Troutbeck did not disappoint. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. It was cold in the evenings and mornings but the rooms had electric heating pads to make the beds warm and comfy. The big hearth fires were a nice place relax. Good menu selections and breakfast buffet.

The tv in my room was an old one that didn’t work . I wanted to watch the world soccer cup but couldn’t cause of that . Everything looks old and this place is just the name but needs revamping ! The staff were ok but couldn’t do anything about the TV
