    This hotel has an exceptional location but I was disappointed by it in most other respects. It was very noisy in my room (not sure if this was the plumbing or airconditioning), the rig looked like it hadn’t been steam cleaned for years, almost no toiletries were provided (no shower cap, no hotel slippers etc) and a horrible synthetic fragrance had been sprayed throughout my room. The staff were helpful but the hotel restaurant was not operational (something I was only told after I booked) and there was no bathroom on the floor where reception was to use after check out. Would not recommend.

    I would highly recommended this hotel. Location and value of money wise personally I think all are very good. With Nomad restaurant at lower ground floor. Walking distance to the square all are very near. Convenience for food and those tourist site seeing are near.

    Booked the Adelphi for a “staycation”. And look, the price was very reasonable but I got a mid week bargain. Check in was mediocre, the lady just simply wasn’t friendly. I asked about dining/room service options and was just cut off with a sharp “no” each time. Like “is room service available for breakfa…..” “NO” which I found just inhospitable. No “enjoy your stay” or anything. Room was big but basic, but a bit quirkier than your average hotel room. Free snacks/soft drink were a bonus and enjoyed them. Pool area would be great in summer but likely busy and it’s not really big (pool and deck). No robes in the room which was disappointing. Called our friend at reception to enquire if they were available and same deal as check in…. “NO”. Fantastic location. Man on the desk at check out with the 60second interaction I had was a million times nicer than the NO lady. Overall if you can bag a room for $*** a night it’s absolutely worth it… just don’t ask questions ;)
