    Great location to access the river walk and the alamo

    We were here for 3 nights and the hotel more than served its purpose for us. The rooms Are clean and come with small kitchen which comes with key utensils. The only negative of the room was the aircon was louder than usual and the beds were more on the firm side. Location wise it is perfect just a 5min walk to Riverwalk and shops. The free breakfast offered a good choice and would easily see you through the morning. Pool area was nice and clean with towel provided plus the hotel provide gas grills for guest use. For the price paid I think it represented really good value and we would be happy to stay here again. If you looking for luxury or for a resort type experience then this will not be the hotel for you.

    The rooms in the hotel were very clean and big. All the staff were helpful. Location is very near to the river walk and walking was safe around the downtown. Enjoyed my stay and breakfast was good. Will definitely come back and stay in Sonesta suites. 👍

    I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel.The room I was given the door was misaligned and could not close properly.The TV had screen damage and the fridge door handle was broken.After checking out I was sent by email an account for parking and the payment was taken out of my credit card.I didn't park at the hotel,I have no car ,I'm a tourist from Australia arrived at the hotel via rideshare and left with rideshare been trying to get a refund but so far been impossible.Contacted Martha Rosa's the manager by email but no one replied.Finally contacted Main Sonesta website for assistance let's hope for a refund soon.First time in my life in all my travels that a hotel has ever taken funds from my credit card for a fake charge and won't refund me.Im very dissatisfied with this hotel .Be aware that Sonesta San Antonio downtown is independently owned and operated so getting a refund for this charge seems more complicated.
