I realised recently that I had not created a review of this resort for Agoda. The Surin Phuket is a lovely classy and relaxing resort to start or end your vacation. I've stayed here twice now and loved it on both occasions. The staff are very attentive and check in on both visits. has been warm and trouble free. There is a beautiful Thai restaurant at the end of the resort (on the beach) and I can honestly say that the Thai food there is the best that I have tasted in Thailand. The staff at the restaurant are wonderful and willing to make recommendations from the menu. They serve with a smile and true warmth. The rooms are spacious enough and very cocooned. They have a large TV with Netflix and Youtube and other apps. The bathroom is spacious with a shower and double sinks. The bed is extremely comfy and is about 6.5 feet wide. My bungalow was at the back of the resort and was hence very private with great views of the Andaman sea and the coastline. The Surin is a perfect hideout in Phuket. It is nestled away and private, but also close enough to walk to Surin beach and its restaurants and shops. Housekeeping is impeccable! They do a wonderful job with the rooms. The beach bar is relaxing at night and the hexagonal black-blue pool is lovely too. The beach itself is spacious and quiet; only guests from The Surin and the Amanpuri bask on it. The hotel guests have it to themselves which is a huge privilege on Phuket. In the high season, the sea is calm and crystalline blue with a soft sandy bottom. But remember, if you are here in low season (May-Oct), the sea gets rough and can be dangerous, so you may prefer the hotel pool for swimming then. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Breakfast is scrumptious. Beautiful food from an a la carte menu or buffet and the service is fabulous. Best breakfast in Phuket! The only real difficulty about the resort is the number of steps that you will have to negotiate. If you have mobility issues, you need to ask the hotel about getting the most accessible room and getting around. If you are in the hillside cottages at the back of the resort, a good hack is to stroll 50 meters (along the harder shoreline of the beach) to the Thai Beach Restaurant and call a buggy to pick you up. They will whizz you to the upper back area of the resort very quickly so that you don't have to climb steps to get back there. The closer to the shoreline you are, the harder the sand and the easier it is to walk on. (Avoid soft areas of the sand if you have ankle or knee issues). Overall, I love it here. I have stayed in high season and low season and my stays were exceptionally good. Everything is done to perfection at The Surin. Service is always fast, efficient and very friendly. The only downside is that you will have to manage your expectations when staying at other resorts in Thailand because I think you'd find it difficult to attain this level of service. I hope to get back to the Surin this summer (if my dentist can sort out my problems!)

Beautiful spacious and well laid out suite bang on the private Surin beach .. suite is perfect for a family with an elder teen - living room private and the daybed very comfy. Love the Surin - our second time there .. not too many activities at the hotel but had a very relaxing holiday..

We loved this hotel, the rooms and facilities. Yes there are a lot of stairs which won't suit alot of people but it makes the view from your room worth it. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.
