    This hotel used to be the crown jewel in Burlington's hospitality industry, if still offers the best location for the money in town. It is a convention hotel and that aspect of the building is good, but the rest is kind of run down. The rooms are a bit shabby. Our bathroom felt like an afterthought not designed for comfort. Our windows were constantly covered with condensation due to a faulty hvac unit. The views of the lake are spectacular and the location makes it very convenient to downtown. Location, Location, location makes it worth it.

    I arrived with a cane and using portable oxygen. I travel frequently flying, cruising, cross country by car or motorcycle. I got booked into a cabana room which was accessible only by stairs. It faxed the pool which had hours from 600 to 1100 and was utilized by families with multiple children or drunk frat types. The room was well equipped, good linens and nice toiletries but the creamers were soured. There was no comped meals as cited by complimentary breakfasts. ATM did not work and no one could make change from large bills. Overall a frustrating experience. I had stayed in this motel countless times when it was a Radisson property. I do not plan to again.

    We were in Burlington for my 50th birthday. We thought that staying by the lake would be nice. The hotel knew it was a 50th birthday as it asks during the time of booking if there was anything special. Not that I expected anything but when the last hotel you were at made a you feel special by upgrading your giving, giving you a card, little personal touches, guess it kind of bums one out when they don't anything. For the amount of money spent for 1nt- over $350 and you just had 2nights at a wonderful hotel who catered to your every need, and the 2 nights equaled 1nt at this hotel, this hotel was a hard sell. The staff was not pleasant, it was a job, we seemed to be a bother at checkin. Our room was located near a supply closet, that was always open so that seemed very cheap to me. The "free" coffee/tea/water stations down the hall could have been a nice touch if everyone knew about it. We found out the morning we were leaving. The room was super dark, if that is your thing you might like the hotel. The elevators were extremely loud- the second day one of them didn't even work, creating a huge back log at the elevator. Overall the hotel was a HUGE disappointment for the amount of money one spends to stay there. If you were getting the room for $150 a night- score, it would be great but for over $350 to lookout at the corn hole/parking lot area, not worth the money. There is a beautiful Courtyard just two buildings away.
