Arrived on Friday and checked in to the first room. It was an insanitary wreck with damages, including(but not limited to) torn carpet, a hole in the closet door, broken blinds, ALL dirty linens and towels, and a filthy oven.
The front desk moved me to a new room that was mildly improved from the first. When i asked about any other possible accommodations, he said there were none others that would likely be better condition.
I went out and came back that night to the parking lot filled with police cars. Literally 10 cruisers blocking major routes in and out of the property. One officer said this was a regular occurrence due to violence and crime in the hotel and surrounding area.
I had to stay the night and still another night, and the police presence was less but still continued. Thankfully no crime nor violence visited my room or car.
The staff was most excellent and tried very hard to make things right with the limited resources they had. I have full appreciation for their assistance throughout the two night stay.
However, even though the staff is incredible, I could not ever recommend this location under any circumstance.
