Took the train from Orange County and was able to walk to The Hilton. Being across from the beach was excellent. The staff very helpful and friendly and the room clean and quiet. Having a free breakfast and free bike and beach chair rentals were a great extra

Pros: 1. Location is strategic - close to zoo, moxi kids museum, famous restaurants, beach, etc 2. Room size is considered big compared to other places - two queen good enough for a family of four 3. Balcony - We should choose ocean view so we get to enjoy more! 4. Bike Rental - We can rent a bike just within the hotel area and cycle to the beach which is literally opposite of the hotel Cons: 1. Overnight parking for car is $42 per night 2. The shower head is attached on the wall which make it harder to shower little kids 3. The rooms are spreaded out into few different building which is away from the hotel main lobby. Kind of more like a resort than a hotel vibe

Hilton SB Beachfront was fine. Not good, just fine. It’s a huge property with the potential to be beautiful and have amazing amenities. Right now, the whole place is looking very outdated. We happened to be there when the pool and some other parts of the hotel are being renovated, and that was not disclosed until we were in the lobby checking in. I had brought my family here for spring break, and packed all of the swim gear and we were so disappointed. The woman checking us in at the front desk kept mentioning their pickleball courts and RENTING A BEACH CHAIR. Those two options were exciting to her in lieu of a functioning pool. No thank you. The room itself was fine - spacious and clean, but outdated and shower fixture was loose. Nothing amazing about the room. We found a great deal for this stay, but I won’t return to this hotel.

Hotel face the pacific ocean directly. Exact the image in my mind about Santa Barbara! Hotel's room, Two Queen Beds and Patio or Balcony with Ocean View, is not very new but cozy.
