Hilton Prague Atrium

A Hilton quality hotel but is a good kilometre walk into the main tourist areas. The walk is also a bit interesting. I didn’t feel particularly safe, so ended up getting an Uber into town each day.

Had a Great Stay. We stayed for 6 nights, family of four; breakfast spread was very Good. location was very comfortable for utilizing public transport

For the Hilton, I would expect little bit more. Sometimes it’s in the details what makes the difference. Upon arrival the reservation system was down. Fair enough, but where is welcome drink/ water as an apology .. nothing, you just have to wait. Parked my car by the entrance so I can bring my bags.. porter came you can’t park here. I travel a lot and normály there is no issue.. unfortunately the customer service is little bit behind and it might have something to do with the Czech nature.. Hotel has a swimming pool and gym with extra cost. Previously included for hotel guest. I was trying to open the window in the room and I couldn’t. Previous visit no issue. On the positive note, the breakfast was very good. I recommend the River view.

It was freezing cold outside—below zero Celsius—and I couldn't even get a decent hot shower. The water temperature fluctuated wildly between scalding hot and freezing cold, even when the tap was kept completely still. This made showering an absolute nightmare; I was constantly at risk of either being scalded by boiling water or blasted by freezing cold water. I spoke to the front desk three times over three days, asking them to send someone to fix the issue. They did attempt repairs three times, but absolutely nothing improved. On my second-to-last day, I requested a partial refund for this horrific experience during the Christmas holidays. I firmly believe that a hot shower is the most basic amenity a hotel should provide—yet Hilton Prague, a five-star property, failed to deliver. The receptionist claimed the manager was unavailable and that she didn't have the authority to authorize a refund. Instead, all I was offered was a room change—which I declined, as I was checking out in less than 12 hours—and a mere drink coupon. Offering a drink coupon for the lack of a working shower, a fundamental service, is an absolute joke. The next morning, after redeeming the drink coupon, I approached management again regarding compensation. To my absolute shock, the manager informed me that because I had already accepted an offer for a full breakfast, she could not offer anything else. I was stunned. Her colleague had offered a drink coupon, not a breakfast coupon. However, the manager insisted their system showed I had accepted a breakfast offer. I was deeply disappointed by this blatant lack of internal communication, and furious that they accused me of taking a full breakfast when I hadn't eaten a single bite of food at their restaurant. In fact, I stood outside the restaurant the entire time just waiting for my drink. They are more than welcome to check the CCTV footage to prove I never stepped foot inside the dining area. After over an hour of arguing, I still wasn't granted a refund. Since I was running out of time and had a train to catch, I was forced to settle for a handful of Hilton Honors points and a free taxi ride to the station. I am devastated that a five-star hotel cannot provide a basic, working shower that you could easily find at a two-star motel. Furthermore, the lack of communication between the staff was deeply insulting, as they essentially accused me of lying about services I never received.
