    We arrived early. The bellhop took our bags and put them in the back until our room was ready. The tavern downstairs was absolutely amazing. They were so packed because two concerts were going on, but they made everything so smooth.

    Our train was delayed so we came in around 9.30pm and thought we’d head to the bar to watch England play in the World Cup. The bar was closing at 10pm, the barmaid was not welcoming or helpful. I didn’t fancy heading into the local streets at night for a snack (and if you took a wrong turn some were very sketchy) and there wasn’t even a bag of nuts or chips/ crisps available at the bar. The lobby looks fancy but the rest is tired. Nobody serviced the rooms during our 3 night stay. There wasn’t enough coffee or creamer to last 3 days but I did find a room attendants trolley so helped myself. I do find staff in the US more than helpful but not here. V disappointed.

    I had bed bugs in my room the stay was great until I was attacked by bed bugs oh and do your homework on this hotel look into it’s history
