I found later I had been charged €20.40 for local taxes, which is far too much for one night and the invoice sent through Expedia said it would be only €1.69. This needs to be investigated and either explained or refunded appropriately.
Room was beautifully clean and the hotel generally well maintained. Very convenient for transport as it's right opposite the station and bus and tram stops.
