    I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The staff were great, and the beds and pillows were super comfortable…had a great sleep! Would definitely stay there again.

    Short and sweet for I had enough of them:when it was time for sleep,the first night,I pulled back the cover and saw blood stain about 2/8 of a inch in diameter. (I toke a picture but this app would not allow me to download it). That evening,my daughtor(in her own bed, and me in mine decided to sleep ontop of the covers for it was late and we had traveled far. Next day, I showed a picture of the stain to the manager and she's was at a loss for words and told her assistant she wanted to know who cleaned my room. I was told by that manager that if I wanted some compensation, I'd have to reach out to agoda(the booking agency whom i paid) for they dont issue refunds since I didn't pay them directly. I then told her that I know that if the hotel wanted to,they could okay a refund through agoda for i have had to do this before. The second and final night there was just okay for I had this unresolved issue in my head. When I returned home next day,I called agoda and commented on my stay; they tried to reach the manager of the hotel but was told she'd only be in on monday(it was presently friday) Agoda told me they try on Monday to no avail. I followed up on Tuesday and apparently they've been trying to reach the manager and was unsuccessfull. I then called comfort in east and was unable to reach manager but was told she was out side:left a detailed message to have her call , she never did. I then waited till friday ,when I reached out to agoda: the represe native tried to reach manager of hotel and was only able to speak to the counter help in which relayed the message from the manager: the complaint didn't justify a refund. I couldn't beleive it for I guess having a blood stain on a bed sheet must be within their acceptable range of error ? In one of my efforts in trying to (innitially) reach the manager,the rep .told me that the manager would be okayinh a refund! Didn't get one. I would of accepted a one night refund: was there two night. Agoda went and gave me à token refund of 35. Plus tax canadian to. Bring peace to this issue. That said, it should of been the comfort in east to refund a night,not agoda. P.s. was told of refund and didn't get one, they kept me hanging for a resolve for ever by the avoidance method.
