    We decided to stay at Sunscape for my birthday. The staff was somewhat friendly. Some were not helpful. My husband asked for our room be decorated and was promised that it would be decorated and they did not honor his request. The rooms were very dated. A roach came out the drain while I was showering. The door to our room had an infestation of these annoying insects, some decided to join us inside our room. I called the front desk and was told a supervisor was coming to the room. No one showed up. The buffet had the same menu daily. I absolutely do not recommend Sunscape.

    I have nothing negative to say about Sunscape Curacao Resort. Everything from start to finish was perfect, seamless, and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again the future.

    From start to finish, the staff at Sunscape Resort did not disappoint. This trip was a birthday trip for my grandmother, and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Her friends that came along also enjoyed themselves. I enjoyed myself. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The entertainment team was very friendly and approachable (major shout out to Candymand and Queenie for leading the activities throughout the week). The food was amazing, and there was a lot of variety that the resort provided. I also loved the location of the resort as it was close to Mambo beach and other key surrounding areas. All in all, job well done! I will definitely return in the future!

    Where do I begin ? first I cannot believe that Hyatt has their name on this hotel. Check in was very long process.The hotel is very dated. Needs a lot of work. Do not have enough restaurants to accommodate all the people that go there . If you get to the restaurant as soon as they open, you have a better chance of being seated if not, there’s a long wait in order to get seated. There’s always one Restaurant closed each day, which makes it much more difficult to be able to eat dinner at a reasonable hour(Unless you want to eat at the buffet). Also, if you’re going with the family, they do not have much food for children who like pizza,chicken nuggets ,french fries, Spaghetti and meatballs, just an example of what they can add to the menu.. Food was always cold..Buffet more or less had the same food each day for breakfast lunch and dinner. They would change only one different food on the buffet line . Entertainment during the day was very limited . Nothing exciting going on. The Hyatt needs to come in and make this place better. Spend the money to send some of your staff to different hotels to see how it is run. I personally would not come back nor would I recommend to any of my friends. Every one complained but I am sure only a few would take the time to write a review.
