Staying in a former brothel :-)
This recently renovated hotel (in fact a former brothel) is actually a 4 bedroom house, with 1 bathroom, to be shared by the guests and the hostess. I was the only guest at the time of my stay. The hostess was perfectly friendly, and even trusted me with the key to the house (I would be back late from my work gig). Everything was clean and tidy (though there was a strange smell in the house). Huge bathroom, with a big and comfortable bath. For breakfast, she had fruit, biscuits and coffee on offer. She offered to go shopping if I paid extra, but I declined. I booked it because it was cheap.
To not wake me, the hostess didn't flush the toilet in the morning, leaving me with a surprise when I woke up and used the bathroom! :-) Also, the bath has a tap with a shower knob, but no shower curtain.

Aangename gastvrouw. Het huis ligt aan een drukke weg maar 's nachts is het wel rustig.
De gastvrijheid van de gastvrouw. De locatie. Dichtbij fietsknooppunten. Mocht er beter omschreven zijn dat je de woning deelt met de ( super vriendelijke/ gastvrije/ discrete) dame dan zou de eerste indruk ook iets vlotter kunnen verlopen. We waren eerst wat geschrokken door het concept maar dat was, na een uurtje kennismaking, totaal vergeten. We mochten onze fietsen steeds binnen zetten. De gastvrouw doet alles om het je zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken.
We hadden niet verwacht dat we het huis letterlijk deelden met de gastvrouw. Gedeelde keuken en living. Wel prive slaapkamer en badkamer met eigen toilet. De gastvrouw was super discreet, waardoor we eigenlijk steeds apart aten en apart gebruik konden maken van de keuken. D

Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. iedere morgen lag er iets nieuw. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en heel behulpzaam.
Een tweede stoel op de kamer nu most er altijd iemand op bed zitten.
