It is not far to historical sights such as Herregaarden Hessel and many beautiful hiking trails along the coast to the shores of Louns - just like to the many fine restaurants with various local specialities.
Take a trip to the wild North Sea, which is always a breathtaking experience. With a bit of luck, you can watch windsurfers and kitesurfers show off their skills on the big waves.
