Martín and his wife are the sweetest hosts. We felt like staying at our uncle and aunt’s place — warm, welcoming, and full of heart. They treat their guests in such a personal and open-hearted way. The place is clean and has the true Margarita Island vibe. The neighbourhood is very safe — it’s a small community where everyone knows each other, so after the first day we were already on a first-name basis with everyone. There’s parking space for one car. On the day we arrived, Martín greeted us with a small meal — such a lovely gesture after our long journey from Europe. We arrived late, tired and hungry, and it made us feel truly cared for. During our stay, Martín lent us a beach chair, a cooler, and a frisbee for the beach. Every morning he treated us to delicious, freshly brewed coffee. You can also order tasty and big breakfasts for just $5, or cook yourself in the shared kitchen. It’s a peaceful and quiet place — perfect for relaxing and experiencing the island from a local perspective. During our trip to Venezuela, this was by far the best accommodation we stayed at.
