House / Villa - Chiclana de la Frontera

We thoroughly enjoyed the villa and its surroundings. The house itself was very clean and accommodating and it had everything we needed for a family of seven. The owner was very helpful too. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

A lovely spacious villa in a quite area a car is a good choice if you want to see the area but there is also a bus service regularly.

The villa is located in a pleasant, quiet area. Nobody else seemed to be living in any of the adjacent properties and it backs onto a golf course, so there was no noise in the evenings. The property itself is a good size and nicely decorated. The swimming pool and garden area were great. Our children really enjoyed the playhouse too. We had a few minor gripes on arrival - the beds hadn't been made, the freezer wasn't working, the oven had no shelves or baking trays (the kitchen could do with a bit of a refresh generally). The owner didn't rush round to apologise and fix things but said he'd send someone the next day. They turned up 3 days later and didn't speak a word of English so we didn't really get anywhere. A couple of other things to be aware of: the seal on the main bedroom's shower is broken so it floods everytime you use it and the 800 channel satellite TV is all well and good but all the channels are German (great if you speak German I suppose!). I don't want this to sound like a negative review because overall the place is very nice and we had an enjoyable stay. I am just not sure it quite deserves the 5-star accolades other people have given it.

El único pero, por decir uno, es la distancia a la playa...hay más de 2 km. El resto fenomenal.
