    Far away from the hustle and bustle of Had Rin is this place, we booked 3 nights and extended, speak directly to the hotel for the best rates, we did. Things to note.. Gorgeous, highly perched bungalows are fab. Room had excellent air con, clean shower and good fridge, also had a big balcony with a hammock, no TV (though we weren't bothered by this) Staff are outstanding, booked our onward travel for us (No charges) they're all super friendly. Breakfast is not a buffet , it's a choice of half a dozen options, we chose a couple of different one's and they were both decent. Hotel is for families or couples, or anyone looking for a bit of peace, definitely NOT a party hotel. Reception can organise scooter renta, though it was hilly, riding was a breeze ( even with a pillion) would leave the riding if it rains though, roads get slippery. Rental 250b per day. Beach is good and the sea was warm, too shallow for snorkeling though (as the time of year (July) we went tides were low during the day) Haad Son is a hidden gem and the best beach imo, and it's not far from this resort. If you want deep water (in July) you have to head up to the bottle beach area. Anyway, hotel was all good. We never ate there beyond breakfast as we ate at the beachfront places but we heard the food was good. Pool is great for kids and adults, there's a dozen covered cabanas and we never had a problem getting one. Mozzies weren't an issue until it rained then they seemed to appear out of nowhere, mostly down at the pool. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach out of the back of the hotel. There's a seven eleven 5 minutes walk away.

    We had a wonderful stay at Baan Kiao Resort! The cleanliness was absolutely outstanding — everything was spotless. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We especially loved the breakfast and the proximity to the sea/pool. The location was great and easy to get around. The only downside was the price, which felt a bit high for what's offered. Overall a near-perfect experience — we would definitely recommend it!

    From the moment I arrived, this hotel felt less like a place to stay and more like a home away from home. The staff are truly the heart and soul of this place, their service goes far beyond expectations. Every single person greets you with such kindness and genuine happiness, and they really take the time to get to know you, even remembering your name. That personal touch made all the difference. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and family-oriented, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe throughout the property. Little details stood out everywhere, from the lovely, fresh-smelling towels (both pool & room) to the generous amenities and even the complimentary fruit waiting in the room. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests’ comfort. The room itself was amazing, very large, spacious, and complemented by a huge balcony that made it even more enjoyable to unwind. The pool area was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and incredibly relaxing, perfect for soaking up the peaceful surroundings. And being so close to the beach was a huge bonus, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds. The food was another highlight, consistently excellent, with a unique and delightful mix of Bernese cuisine that added something special to the experience. Evenings were often filled with fun, especially karaoke nights with the staff, which created such memorable and joyful moments. A very special shout out to Daniel, Titi, Tom, Serena, and Ron, you all made my stay unforgettable. That said, every single staff member contributed to making this experience so special. I’ve since moved to another location in Thailand, but I already miss this hotel and its incredible team so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a place filled with warmth, comfort, and truly exceptional people.
