    We had a disappointing check-in experience. We had to wait about 30 minutes to check in because there was no staff available when we arrived. As we were on vacation with a planned schedule, this caused us to lose precious time. When the owner eventually came, he spoke only Thai and no English at all, which made communication very difficult for us as international guests. When working in the hotel business, staff should be able to speak at least basic English, especially in an area with so many tourists due to its proximity to Bangkok. Some may call this an “entitled tourist” complaint, but it’s worth noting that English is not even my first language—it is simply a basic tool for international communication. Overall, this experience caused unnecessary stress and left a poor first impression.
