Great value and location, a little more dated than Adelphi in sukhumvit but clean and sufficient for the price

I had a fantastic stay at Adelphi Pattaya Hotel, and what truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We reached the hotel well before the official check-in time of 3 PM after a long flight and a tiring journey to Pattaya. To our surprise, they kindly allowed us to check in at 1 PM, which was greatly appreciated and made a huge difference after a day of travel. The location is another major plus. Everything was within walking distance, making it easy to explore Pattaya without needing transportation all the time. One small gesture that really stood out was when the staff lent us a charger because our plug didn't fit the socket. It was a simple act of kindness, but it showed how genuinely helpful and attentive they were throughout our stay. I also loved the atmosphere around the hotel at night. It was peaceful enough to sit out on the balcony and relax after a busy day. Despite being close to everything, there wasn't much noise, which made the evenings especially enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful hotel with excellent service, a convenient location, and staff who truly care about their guests. I would definitely stay here again.

I chose the Adelphi Pattaya because I had previously stayed at its sister hotel, the Adelphi Suites Bangkok (Sukhumvit Soi 8), and was very satisfied. My experience in Pattaya was also good, though it is worth noting that the Bangkok property is nicer, more modern, and newer. However, the Adelphi Pattaya is significantly cheaper and still highly recommendable. ... The location is great, situated just a 3-minute walk from the lively and popular Soi Buakhao area. Because it's slightly tucked away on a connecting road between 3rd Road and Soi Buakhao, it is much quieter than being right on the main strip. However, the connecting road does get motorcycle and vehicle traffic. My room faced the side of the building, and I could still hear some street noise. If you want absolute quiet, it might be worth requesting a room facing the back of the property. ... The room itself was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. The mattress was comfortably firm. ... > A quick warning on layout: The mattress sits on a frame where the base protrudes outward. I accidentally banged my shins against it twice in the dark while getting up at night (the masseuse at my foot massage later looked quite surprised at my two small bruises!). Additionally, the bedside table isn't very ergonomic as it sits lower than the mattress. ... Please also watch your step, as there are slight step-level differences between the bathroom and bedroom, as well as in some public areas, which caused me to trip twice. ... Wi-Fi: Excellent, fast, and stable throughout my stay. ... Staff: Very friendly and welcoming. ... Check-in: I requested an early check-in at noon via email beforehand, but unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate it upon arrival. ... Pool: I did not check out the swimming pool during my stay. ... Dining: Unlike the Bangkok sister hotel (which features the excellent Monsoon restaurant), the Adelphi Pattaya doesn't have a proper restaurant. It only has a tiny café called Adelphee, which has very limited selection and lacks charm. ... The limousine transfer for my arrival and departure via Pattaya Central worked flawlessly. ... All in all, this is a very solid hotel that offers great value for money, especially if you want to be close to the action of Soi Buakhao while enjoying a quieter night's sleep. I would happily stay here again.
