Right by the beach and some nice bars and restaurants. Beautiful beach. My unit was in great condition. Much better than I expected.

Just across the road from the beach, a full one bedroom apartment. I paid 1500 baht per night which is terrific value

What we liked: - Spacious bright room, kitchenette, nice bedroom. - Balcony for those who like to use it. - Room/Hotel location is across the road from the beach. Literally a few minutes after you cross the road, you are at the beach. Think carefully before selecting: - Staff seems very lean: meaning not enough. There is not a real reception or lobby. When we arrived there were two people there and one was very busy. - I was told to use WhatsApp to communicate with the staff for any requests. I used WhatsApp and over 4 days no one read my message. - I had asked for help in determining options for transportation/transfer to Koh Lipe. As I said the staff was busy, so I figured it out myself. About Klong Muang - it's a small town ( definitely small compared to busy Ao Nang). There is a 7-11 and several restaurants. But amenities are much lesser than Ao Nang. I originally thought I wanted a quiet town which is what I got. IMO, I felt a little isolated ; you may NOT ; you might really like it. So think about your choice.
