    The Location & Transport If you are looking for a peaceful retreat hidden in nature, this is the place. The property is deeply tucked away from the main road, making it incredibly quiet and serene. Because of its remote location, it is only accessible by car, and you cannot rely on Grab in this area. However, if you want to explore, you can easily hire a private songthaew or van directly through the hotel reception to visit nearby attractions like Hellfire Pass. The payoff for the remote location is an absolutely amazing view that makes it completely worth it. The Room & Private Onsen The highlight of the stay was definitely the Deluxe Onsen Villa itself. The private onsen in the villa is fantastic. The staff is highly attentive and will set it up for you right upon check-in so that the water temperature is perfectly dialed in by the time you want to use it. Amenities & Pools Main Pool: A bit smaller in reality than it appears in the promotional photos. Thermal Pool: Located beautifully on the lake side. The water temperature runs rather high, which might be a bit intense for some, but my partner absolutely loved it. Dining The food on-site is okay and the cocktails are standard—nothing extraordinary, but decent enough to enjoy while taking in the surroundings. Summary All in all, while the main pool is smaller than expected and the dining is average, the stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent private villa onsen experience make this a wonderful getaway. Just note the lack of ride-sharing apps, but the helpful reception staff makes arranging local day trips a breeze.

    A nice place to stay in Kanchanaburi. Quiet, peaceful and family friendly. It is showing its age a bit, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. A slightly old fashioned experience and all the better for it.

    Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations created by the hotel. The room we received was quite different from the one shown in the booking photos, which was disappointing. The staff were generally not very welcoming or helpful, and although they listened to our concerns, no real solution was offered. We were informed that the restaurant did not require a reservation. However, upon arrival it was completely fully booked. The only alternative offered was to have dinner in the breakfast room, which was not the experience we had expected. We came to enjoy the beautiful riverside setting and nature, not to dine in a breakfast area. The resort was also much busier than anticipated, with many families and large groups, resulting in a rather crowded atmosphere. Finally, many of the activities and excursions were significantly overpriced, giving the impression that the resort tries to maximize revenue at every opportunity. The location itself is beautiful, but unfortunately the overall service and guest experience did not meet our expectations. P.s. At the restaurant, we kept hearing "no" as well. Chardonnay? No. Fish cakes? No. Massaman curry? No. The little tile? No. If you're not prepared for a full house, that's quite an achievement
