    This was our fourth time visiting Koh Samet, and definitely the best hotel we have stayed at on the island so far. We really loved the pool at the end of the day, the authentic food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the wine selection was also very good value. Breakfast was simple but had everything needed, with very good quality. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely come back again.

    The only thing I was really disappointed in was the amount of plastic and rubbish on the rocks below the deck. I would also have loved a robe!

    We often visited this resort for the pool and bar. We should have stuck to that! Upon arrival the room assigned was sea view , however the view was full of trash. When requesting to change to a more suitable room you would think we had murdered someone. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful at the start and made us feel as though we had done something wrong. Eventually the room was changed, although it was made out as though other guests had to move when this was not the case. I advised possibly pick up the trash. You would think I made a request to travel to Mars. The pool has been changed and is bright white - not great in the scorching sun as it’s very blinding. The old pool was much better. Restaurant - does not really serve many western dishes / yet has chicken nuggets for breakfast ??? My partner was told he would be charged if he asked for more ice - yet the breakfast juices were warm ??? You have to walk down to the main road with your luggage they won’t provide a service to at least bike your luggage. It’s not a short walk. Some staff were lively. But overall we won’t stay here again till staff have had training in customer service and how to speak to People. My partner is Thai so we ruled out the language barrier. Great for a day chilling by the pool. To stay over priced and rather rude staff. We won’t be staying here again. What made it worse is it is low season , so they should think about who supports them during this time.
