Would recommend to others great staff….. my only negative remark would be ….. Why have a lovely buffet breakfast with many choices, But every single hot item was cold, they had burners under all pots , and not one was lit ????? We had breakfast at 8am each morning with food that seemed was not even heated

Radisson in Kamala was a nice place to stay overall. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming - definitely a big positive for Radisson on the customer service aspect. A day before our group arrival however, we were advised that the 3 bedroom accommodation we had initially booked was no longer available due to a technical error in the booking system. This was somewhat distressing as we booked months prior. Radisson staff did resolve this issue upon our arrival though by giving us alternative rooms that were adjacent to each other, which worked out much the same for us. So credit to Radisson for resolving this in a timely manner without much issue. The daily room service was good and the breakfast buffet offered many options daily (similar each day though, ends 10:30am). The Radisson resort had many families with kids and I must say that it was definitely "children friendly" as the resort offered many daily activities for children around and in the swimming pool. We travelled as a group of young men, and staying there wasn't too much of an issue really despite being more of a "family" oriented resort. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. We were generally out for most of the days anyway. From a location point of view, Radisson was about 600 metres from the beach front, after crossing a main road. On the street Radisson sits on are other smaller stores offering laundry services, massages (family friendly), a small general store and some restaurants. The main activity zone is along Kamala Beach though (very nice beach). So overall, despite some initial hiccups prior to arrival, I'd rate and recommend Radisson probably more for people with families who are on a mid-budget lifestyle. They had a small gym and pool table area, as well as tables along the pool for those who want to enjoy Radisson cuisine after hours. In the 8 days we were there, some minor issues we had were our door card readers paying up, and losing tap water losing for several hours - these all got resolved reasonably quick though. Overall, we had a nice experience though and I'd recommend Radisson to anyone who is not fussed about kids running around the resort, and to anyone willing to walk a few hundred metres to the beach daily. Thank you.

5 star hotel but feels like 3 star hotel. Toilet got a lot of stain,When we first entered the room, there was used sanitary pad tape on the floor! The bathroom was dirty. Only one key was provided per room. what if we want to go out separately?i ask for 3 keys but they said cannot.only can have on room key! It is absolutely not recommended. The soap was provided, but it didn’t smell nice. The air conditioner was blowing directly onto the bed and onto my head, to the point that I couldn’t sleep. With price its totally not worth it!!!

I stayed here to celebrate my first anniversary, and the experience was extremely disappointing for a property of this standard. Despite requesting a room decoration well in advance for a special occasion, there was absolutely no arrangement made. This shows a clear lack of attention to guest requests and basic hospitality. The situation worsened with the AC in the bedroom not working properly for two consecutive nights. A technician did visit, but the “fix” lasted barely 10 minutes, after which the issue persisted. It is unacceptable that such a basic facility could not be properly resolved during the stay. What was even more frustrating was the management’s response. When I escalated the issue, I was casually advised to shift rooms — that too when we were due to check out the next day. This was neither a solution nor an acceptable way to handle an already poor experience. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations. For a reputed hotel, the service was careless, reactive, and lacked accountability. Definitely not the experience one expects, especially for an important occasion.
