We had a fantastic time at Cookies Salad, the staff were super friendly and helpful, they arranged our transport and next ferry to Koh Tao with ease. The happy hour cocktails are awesome and great value for money. You are limited for food options at salad beach and if you are old or have trouble walking it is not for you because the hotel and acess to the beach is down and up a steep climb. Cookies does advise you of this pre booking which is helpful, lucky for us we are young and fit and could go up and down the steps all day, we also rented a scooter which is a must if you want to see more of Koh Phangan which was also arranged by the staff at Cookies, the bed was amazing and so comfortable and room cleaned daily. A great place to seclude and getaway for three days.

We stayed for 2 nights - a special place nestled in a hill - beware though you need to walk up some steep steps!

We stayed 4 nights at Cookies Salad Resort and it was wonderful. We took the cottage, the view was amazing, the beach right under the hotel is quiet and beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful. If you visit there I recommend to rent a car or a bike because there are many good restaurants near Zen beach area.

Loved the fact that this resort is a cooperative and supports many locals. It does appear to be a little run down particularly the more deluxe rooms, the spa water pressure was pitiful and would’ve taken hours to fill. The towels were very thin and old, and there was a foul odour coming from the water pipes. The breakfast was limited in terms of options but very tasty. Staff were friendly and cocktails great. Was a little far from town but the view was superb.
