    My husband and I recently stayed at Veranda Lodge for two weeks and, overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday. Without question, the standout feature is the location. Positioned right on the beach, it's peaceful, picturesque, and hard to beat. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality was one of the highlights of our visit. The rooms were clean, tidy, serviced daily, and although a little dated, they were comfortable and well maintained. We were also very impressed with the level of security, which exceeded our expectations and gave us real peace of mind. Unfortunately, there were several areas that fell short of what we expected. The breakfast was disappointing, particularly for a two-week stay. We had anticipated a buffet breakfast, however there was only a very limited à la carte menu that remained exactly the same every morning. A little variety would make a significant difference, especially for guests staying longer than a few days. The beds were also extremely firm. The staff kindly provided us with a mattress topper, and while we appreciated their efforts, it only made the bed just bearable. Another disappointment was the swimming pool. During our entire two-week stay it could not be used and, as far as we observed, it was never cleaned or maintained. This was unfortunate, as the pool is one of the facilities guests naturally expect to enjoy during their stay. The lodge also has a pizza restaurant, which was another missed opportunity. On several occasions it closed much earlier than the advertised trading hours, making it unavailable when we had planned to dine there. Better communication or adherence to the published opening times would certainly improve the guest experience. Overall, Veranda Lodge offers excellent value, an unbeatable beachfront location, outstanding staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. With improvements to the breakfast, bedding, pool maintenance, and restaurant operating hours, it could easily become an exceptional place to stay. We would certainly consider returning, largely because of the wonderful staff and the beautiful location.

    Stayed in garden bugalows. Excellent rooms, spacious and clean. Super beach front restaurant/cafe facilities. Very friendly accommodating staff. Great location. Would stay here again next time in Hua Hin. No need to look anywhere else.

    The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. However, the biggest issue was the poor soundproofing. The room appeared to be a connecting room that had been permanently locked, but conversations from the neighboring room could be heard clearly. The bed was advertised as a large bed, but it was actually made by joining two smaller mattresses together. Noise was a major problem throughout the stay. Staff members could often be heard walking and working loudly in the hallways. Even before the official check-out time, housekeeping was already cleaning nearby rooms, creating significant noise that greatly disturbed our rest. If your priority is peace, quiet, and quality sleep, I would strongly recommend considering other accommodation
