Hotel Nox

Its my first time to visit Ljubljana. For 4 days, i stayed in this hotel. I felt safe and comfortable. The room is clean and there were free drinks on the mini bar. The breakfast is the winner of all. There is enough variety of cold cuts, fruits and bread choices. Also you can order what coffee and egg you like. I arrived midnight and there was a friendly receptionist waiting for me to arrive and made everything ready. Check in and check out was smooth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nox Ljubljana. Great location for us as it had free parking and wasn't too far out of town. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and gave us information about breakfast and also where to get the bus into the city and where to get off etc. Our room was *** (***) on the top floor with a big comfortable bed, nice pillows (there's also a pillow menu if you prefer a former or softer one) and separate duvets. Comfy lounge chair in the corner and a great big balcony with a great view overlooking the mountains. Nice bathroom with separate toilet and shower cubicles. Shower was powerful and water was hot. Despite being on a main road we didn't hear much outside noise with the balcony door closed. We both slept very well. Breakfast was good with a menu of eggs how you like, and other dishes like eggs benedict, and omelette etc was available. Fresh coffee, and a selection of cooked meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and hot items was on offer. All very fresh and tasty. Breakfast service staff were all smiling and polite. Breakfast is until 11am at the weekend which was good as we didn't have to get up too early. There is also a bar of you want a drink in the evening. All in all we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Especially if you have a hire car, the free, plentiful parking was very good. Adding this as it may help others The hotel is located in Vižmarje, approx 7km away from the city centre. There is a regular bus service into the centre every 20-30 mins. The bus stop is located outside the hotel just across the pedestrian crossing. We got the 1 or 1b, and got off at Ajdovščina or Drama on the central shopping street. We also got back on at Ajdovščina on the opposite side of the street when we were coming back to the hotel. It costs €1,50 each way and all the buses have contactless payment so no ticket required, just tap to pay when you get on (the hotel and city centre are both zone 1 so no need to press any buttons, just tap)

The rooms are really well designed here, like Japanese style beds, the mini bar is also free.

The hotel offers convenient parking, and the room is exceptionally clean and well-equipped.
