Great hotel by the river. Old town and castle very near. Room well kept and modern and has a window that opens. Masses of food at breakfast. Staff great

The hotel frequently lists "Indoor Pool" , “parking” and "Sauna" under its primary property amenities on booking platforms without clearly labeling them as "surcharge" or "extra fee" services on the main page. I had to pay an extra 62 euros for parking and using the pool and sauna

Cleanliness: Housekeeping standards fell short of expectations. We found dirty mugs left in the room, a towel that had not been properly laundered, and a bathtub that was not adequately cleaned. This is a basic hygiene standard that the hotel should be consistently meeting. Parking: Parking is charged as an additional cost rather than being included, which guests should be aware of when budgeting for their stay. Breakfast: The breakfast restaurant was overly crowded, which affected the overall dining experience — this may point to a need for better capacity management or staggered seating/timing during peak breakfast hours. Location: A clear highlight — the hotel is excellently situated, just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city on foot. Amenities/Guest Supplies: Complimentary water was only replenished on the first day of the stay and not thereafter. Additionally, basic amenities such as a dental kit, instant coffee, and milk were not proactively provided in the room and had to be specifically requested at reception. Overall: The hotel benefits from an outstanding location close to the Old Town, but this is undermined by inconsistent housekeeping standards, an overcrowded breakfast experience, and gaps in guest amenities/replenishment that should be standard rather than requiring guest intervention. Addressing cleanliness protocols, breakfast capacity, and daily restocking of complimentary items and toiletries would significantly improve the guest experience.
