I had a disappointing experience. I am primarily rating this hotel down for the extortionate valet service. As soon as I arrived at the hotel with my car rental, there was a kiosk/stand with the name Altrass and the name of the hotel, I asked for the man working to open the gate for me as I will be staying for the hotel, the man told me that it will be compulsory for me to pay for the valet service even for the residents of the hotel, he said that the charge will be 35 riyals for one time service or 50 riyals per day if you will be going in and out. So I paid 50 riyals. As soon as I went to reception the lady there told me that parking was free for residents. I told her that I hold the hotel responsible because the kiosk had the hotel name and they were operating right outside their entrance. She said she will speak to management about this. However, I was not offered any kind of compensation.! When I came back later that evening I discovered that there was nobody manning the kiosk so there was nobody to park my car for me (a service I paid 50 riyals for); instead I managed to open the gate using my hotel access card and found the parking was less than 10 meters away and had plenty of parking spots and space. So this whole valet service is completely useless and can, it’s just there to fleece residents. I can not forgive the hotel for allowing this to happen and not offering to compensate me. Further negatives: the room I booked had a sliding glass door the hotel that was due to poor design would remain wide open and could not be closed. I told the receptionist and she did transfer me to another room where this wasn’t a problem. Furthermore, the did not provide enough towels for us on our second day they provided 1 body towel and 1 small sized robe and no floor towel. Also before check the receptionist informed that they expect guest to leave by 12am/1pm max, even though my booking had 2pm check out, she did not force me to leave before 2pm but I felt rushed. Finally, the breakfast is really not worth the money. Overall, the hotel has many nice design features and has so much potential. I was support local Saudi hotels. However, the hotel had some major shortcomings considering the service provided in light of the price. I had a similar cost quote in the 5 star narcissus hotel for the same period but I chose this hotel because I know it’s a local Saudi brand.

Clean and good design. However, the staff treatment and attitude were horrible. For starters, when we arrived the receptionist told us that agoda is not good for booking and she was upset.
