    On the day we checked out was very sad leaving the hotel. We loved the view, the room and actually we love everything. Highly recommended please come and stay this place it’s a very special experienced for us as family.

    Went to Brasov to see the bran castle. We booked this room because we wanted to have a special time away and it was. We went to the reception and checked in and they were very pleasing. We meant to book a room with balcony but we mistakenly didn’t and so I’ve let the person at reception know that, unfortunately they couldn’t change our room to a balcony one because they were full but they still tried to help as much as possible. Everything in the room was spot on clean and the toilet was fully disinfected before our stay. I couldn’t recommend this room more, even if it’s a bit more pricey. 10/10

    The location is charming, on the hill on the way to Cetate, with nice outside sitting area. But my room and also my friends' room had weird, difficult to use bathrooms: small, narrow room whare you cannot access the toilet unless you go through the shower area. So after you shower, the whole floor all the way around the toilet gets flooded. Then you have to wait for the water to drain and eventually dry the floor using a towel to be able to access the toilet!

    Casa Cranta is a fair choice for a budget-conscious comfortable stay in Brasov, but be prepared that it is not particularly close to the centre (15 minutes' walk, up a hill one way) and be very careful to check which room you have. Ours looked out onto a wall. In fact there was very little in the property that resembled the photos I saw when making the reservation. Strong points were the good breakfast, surprisingly varied for a small dining area, and helpful staff. But the facilities (especially the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room, combined with the stern notice that the tea/coffee from the machine in reception is complementary only when taking breakfast) were disappointing, and the lack of shower curtain around the bath made taking a shower something of a challenge. We were glad our stay was short.
