I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. While there were several positive aspects to our stay, a few frustrating policies and design issues held it back from being a truly great experience.
The Positives:
Location & Cleanliness: The hotel is in a very good, convenient location. Upon arrival, our room was perfectly clean and well-maintained.
Staff: The staff members were polite and accommodating. For instance, my daughter accidentally spilled makeup foundation on the bedsheet. Knowing it was a removable stain, the staff was understanding and didn't enforce the strict damage fine, which we highly appreciated.
Breakfast: The included breakfast was okay, though it's worth noting the "juice" listed on the menu tasted more like a powdered Tang drink.
The Negatives & Areas for Improvement:
Bathroom Flooding: There is a structural issue with the bathroom floor incline. After taking a shower, the water doesn't drain properly and floods the floor, which is both inconvenient and a slip hazard.
Accessibility Issues: There are no ramps at the main entrance or between the lobby and the elevator area. Carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs was quite difficult.
Nickeling and Diming Policies: The hotel charges a ₱50 fee just for bringing outside food or drinks into the property. This feels petty and damages the brand's reputation just to force guests to buy from their own inventory for a tiny ₱5 to ₱10 profit margin. This is especially frustrating because the in-house food options are incredibly limited and definitely not suitable for foodies.
Strict Checkout Window: Be aware that they only give a 5-minute grace period after checkout time before hitting you with extra charges. It feels incredibly rushed.
Verdict:
If you just need a clean place to sleep in a good location, this works. But the management really needs to reconsider their rigid rules on outside food and checkout times, and look into fixing the bathroom drainage and accessibility issues.
